NAGA City -- Six (6) Disaster and Rescue Teams (DARTs) of Kabalikat Bicol are expected to participate in the mini-olympics on rescue on December 19, 2009 at the ABS-CBN Compound, Panganiban Avenue, this city.
According to Kabalikat Bicol Regional Governor Jennis Nidea (30-01) the rescue mini-olympics will coincide with the Regional Executive Council Officers' and KabalikatNet National Board Meeting at the BSP Cam. Sur Council Office in this city.

LEGASPI City -- The Kabalikat Bicol Castilla, Sorsogon (KB516) chapter headed by Pastor Raffy Arganda (516-01) in coopertion with the PNP-Highway Patrol Group of Sorsogon headed by P/CI Elcid Roldan is slated to conduct a seminar on Defensive Driving on Friday, December 18 at Castilla, Sorsogon.
In a report sent to KB Bicol Regional Governor Jennis Nidea (30-01), Rolando Jebulan (122-102), board chairman of Sorsogon City (KB12) chapter and PEC Sorsogon Vice Chairman said that the seminar will be participated in by jeepney and tricycle drivers and other interested individuals.

SORSOGON City -- The Kabalikat Bicol in the province of Sorsogon is slated to a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol (PNP-HPG) in a simple ceremony tomorrow (Dec. 3, 2009) at Guinlajon, this city.
In his report to Kb Bicol Regional Governor Jennis Nidea (30-01), Rolando Jebulan (122-102) said that prior to the signing, members of Sorsogon City (KB122) and Castilla (KB516) chapters attended a seminar on Traffic Management Education conducted by the HPG-Sorsogon led by PCI Elcid T. Roldan.
After the training, Jebulan said, that the officers of KB Bicol-Sorsogon and HPG-Sorsogon agreed to enter into a MOA to bind the partnership.

NAGA City -- Tomas “Nonoy” Rentoy VII (30-199) and Irvin C. Ayo (30-54) last Friday (Nov. 27) were elected as the new chapter president and chairman of the board, respectively, of the Kabalikat Bicol Naga City (KB30) Chapter effective January 1 – December 31, 2010.
Rentoy, one of the pillars of KB Bicol and was the perennial operations chief of the chapter, will replace Engr. Salvador “Buddy” Altar (30-129) who steered the KB30 chapter with flying colors. Altar was elected as the vice chairman of the board.

LEGASPI CITY -- The initial talk (exploratory) held last Saturday, November 14 in this city between KabalikatNet Philippines Inc. (KbNet) led by the founder/National President Jennis Nidea (30-01) and an international non-government organization was a huge success and agreed to hold another round of dialogue before the year-end.
The NGO, engaged in relief operations and rehabilitation of disaster stricken areas, agreed with the proposal of Nidea to organize Disaster and Rescue Teams (DART) in Bicol, Quezon and the National Capital region.
